The Comedy/Mystery Society, combining astounding magic & sleight of hand with interactive theater & hilarious fun, announces its Winter/Spring 2009 season at the Arts Barn. This season’s periodic “Society Meetings” - each with a different agenda, frequently with guest artists - will be held at 8 p.m. on the following Fridays: Aug 1, Sept 4, Oct 30, Nov 27, & Sat Dec 26. Winter Lights Festival -

The City of Gaithersburg’s Winter Lights Festival is back for its 14 season, ready for you to enjoy the traditional 3.5 mile drive through a magically transformed Seneca Creek State Park. Winter Lights is open Sun - Thurs from 6 to 9 p.m., & Fri & Sat from 6 to 10 p.m. The Festival is closed on Dec 25 & Jan 1. Cash-only admission is $12 per car Mon - Thurs & $14 per car Fri - Sun. $2 discount coupons valid Mon - Thurs only are available at nearby Lakeforest Shopping Center.

The season opening of the City of Gaithersburg’s Main Street Farmers Market is on Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The market is housed in the Main Street Pavilion at 301 Main Street, one block off of Kentlands Boulevard in the Kentlands.
